Blistering Fang OTK deck

I have only used this deck 2 times so far, one losing by a misclick and the other a win, but so far the deck seems to be really powerful

The deck:

Also, add 3 Blistering Scorns to the deck, the database didn’t have the cards in the deckbuilder when creating this.

Card Choices:

Azure Horn Shaman: For giving minions higher health to make it easier to deal damage to them and for easier trades

Natural Selection: Because of Blistering Scorn and Spirit Harvester, I run no rebirth/egg minions in this deck. With the higher curve, this allows you to use Natural Selection much easier for removal (in some instances, this also helps prock Azure’s effect if you really need it)

Amplification: Self explanatory, dealing minature damage to our minions help procs this easier.

Artifact Hunter: Drawing twin fan easier, but I only had one. Can be replaced with other cards. You could use Grincher as an alternate draw in case you want a ranged or blast artifact (or any other good artifact), but its based on preference.

Silhouette Tracer: To hit face easier.

Bounded Life Force: An alternate win condition to deal as much damage as possible to your opponent.

Sunsteel Defender: With Flash, you essentially get a free 4/3 minion for 2 mana at the expense of using 2 cards. Powerful for a turn 1 opening imo.

Sworn Sister L’Kian: For card draw. You can replace it with Sojurner, Blaze Hound, or Spell Jammer, but again its really based on preference.

Earth Sphere: Amazing card to help sustain your health, especially in the late game.

The rest of the cards are basically for damage synergy, such as Taygete and Khymera. While playing this deck, you want to have a twin fang ready and try to get as ahead on the board as possible. You want to use Flash, Scorn, Kujata, and Harvester to your advantage when you play Twin Fang to ensure that you get as much damage out as possible. Unlike Harvester, Scorn can be played right when you play Twin Fang to get instant value, so I suggest trying to play Harvester at least a turn earlier before equipping Twin fang (if you can). Also, positioning yourself with Twin Fang is key: be especially careful when you play Twin Fang against Faie, Four Winds Magi, and their equivalents. In those cases, you will have to rely more on Blistering Scorn to help deal burst damage with Twin Fang and rely more on either value, Khymera, or Bounded Life Force.

Problems this deck is mostly card draw, so you can try replacing some cards with Spell Jammer, Sojurner (both weak to Zen Rui), Blaze Hound (gives your opponent a card, but good stats), Ruby Rifter (could be great late-game, but I haven’t tried it) or Grincher (for clutch artifacts). Khymera can be replaced by any other great late-game options, like Red Synja or Dark Nemesis.

Again, I have only tried 2 battles with this deck in high 11/12 rank this season, and love to here your guys thoughts on this deck~

This is incredibly cheesy. I love it  The one Khymera as an insurance policy is really cool as well, seems to have good answers to things and works well with the accelerated deploys off of flash and Kujata. Really like this, gonna have to give it a try myself!

If you stack artifacts like Twin Fangs or Arclyte Regalia, do you get double the effects? (ATK increase, Damage Prevented)

Not sure for Twing Fang but multiple Arclyte Regalias stacks. Prevents 2/4/6 of the first attack each turn

Yea, their effects will stack. I have 2 in here so that you have a higher chance of getting it in the beginning, but having 2 also allows you to either a) deal double the original twin fang damage or b) have a second one in case the first wasn’t enough.

I use a similar deck,I am curious where the one turn kill comes from?

Spam the board, preserve your minions, equip twin fang, play Blistering Scorn, get about 8-10 attack + whatever you stacked with your BBS. It won’t really be OTK most of the time, but with right setup it is possible to get a ton of damage out of a single twin fang hit.

Well… in some instances I distance myself, build up attack, and then use silhouette tracer for the otk, but many don’t have an answer for Twin fang when you use it.

UPDATE: after 8 complete matches (most with highly skilled opponents), I have gotten 6 wins, and a 4 win streak, hitting me at gold rank today. Majority of the match ups were against abyssian, but their also was a win against Sajj (Vetruvian) and Argeon (Lyonar).

Curremt win rate: 75%

Possible changes:
While playing, I’ve found azure shaman to be pretty weak in this deck, so anyone using the deck should try using healing mystic, Shirley puppy dragon, or any other 2 drop equivalent (I don’t recommend the other Magmar 2 drops… they don’t really have great synergy in this deck). Late game draw can also be an issue without L’kian, so additional draw cards, such as Ruby Rifter, should be considered when using this deck. You can also probably replace a Sunsteel for another card, as its only really there as a powerful P1 turn 1 drop with Flash. Note: I have not yet tried the above changes, these at just suggestions from what I’ve experienced in some of my matches.

Would Chrysalis Burst and (flash) Scorn work to give a burst of Twin Fang proc?

I think so. It’s a pretty good combo

I wanted to post an OTK deck with Starhorn but i don because you where faster :stuck_out_tongue:

Ash Mephyt is in mine deck and he is amazing because you wnat him to spawn far away to get 3 triggers for Twinfang ;D

Also i use Shieldmaster over the Sunsteel and have 3 Young Silithar and Rocky instead of Kujata and Shaman…

BTW my deck is more focused on getting highealth minion to stick and then use Scorn…so more control without the tracer and such things…

Maybe that helps :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry about that ^^’. Your version does sound interesting though. I had thought about using Starhorn to deal with my draw problems, but I just happened to use Vaath’s for the extra damage and board clearing opportunities. I like your use of people first in the deck, it’s really good for a neutral 4 drop to prevent enemy movement, and ash mempht seems extremely powerful to proc the twin fang by using scorn as a follow up .

The damage is actually not that important from vaath…with this kinda deck is winning on turn 4 or 5 very likely…
