Archonis Boss battle feedback thread

This boss was really fun! Sajj doesn’t have to wait until late game to equip all those expensive artifacts, and the fact that he uses Grimes makes everything even better!

SUPERFUN this Boss, SUPERFUN!!

Because it allows us to create really new decks and see cards in play that are rare.

First attempt at the new boss. I went into it mostly blind (I knew that he had Martyr, but I did not actually know what made this boss battle unique).

10/10 on concept

clearly intends to bring in fun as a priority over challenge/puzzle (not that there is anything wrong in vice-versa)

the boss minions and cards seemed unfit towards the concept though. with 9 mana going in, I chose 3 and 6 mana cards only (and meltdowns), as I know I would always be able to hit 9 mana. The boss however, doesn’t utilize high mana cards to their advantage. Additionally, and because of this, the boss went through cards a little to quick.

If this boss went untouched, it’d still be a fun breath of air, but since this is about feedback, this is my input about shortcomings.

To whoever it was who was wondering about the maximum amount that a unit can Grow in one turn in Duelyst, multiply 3x Godhammer by 48 spaces (all the spaces in the board minus 1 for the enemy General) and add Juggernaut’s +5/+5 for a whopping +149/+149. (so long as you don’t get a frozen screen and have to restart your client :smiley: )
