There are some funny combos with Vanar too : Embla T1, AotMountain T2
Really funny boss for goofy tests, I
it
… make it double Mountain !

This boss was absolutely beautiful. Went in with a vanar deck I was testing, realized that I started with 9 mana, conceded, then went back in with a janky vetruvian deck to win with Dank Nem
I Was looking throught that challenge thread and now i have to try this boss with arcane devourer and ALL of the high cost minions
No, you used a camera instead of screen capture.
Dat fractal meltdown tho
It is my belief, at least in part, that this boss was designed to allow us to play all of our beefcake super minions that really never get to see any action in the current meta (or any, as the game is designed to end quickly).
33 mana play for 8! Seems legit.
How to be good 101.
Forget those big minions. I beat this poor fellow in 2 turns with dance of memes
It could probably happen in 1 but I didn’t feel like trying again lol
Yes it does, I confirm
This boss was really fun! Sajj doesn’t have to wait until late game to equip all those expensive artifacts, and the fact that he uses Grimes makes everything even better!
TURN 1
TURN 3
Starhorn: “MUAAAHAHAHAH TAKE THIS!!!”
(took me 8 games to achieve this… Also I only have 1 card left in the deck
)
SUPERFUN this Boss, SUPERFUN!!
Because it allows us to create really new decks and see cards in play that are rare.
Khymera-Zurael-Grailmaster combos FTW!
First attempt at the new boss. I went into it mostly blind (I knew that he had Martyr, but I did not actually know what made this boss battle unique).
10/10 on concept
clearly intends to bring in fun as a priority over challenge/puzzle (not that there is anything wrong in vice-versa)
the boss minions and cards seemed unfit towards the concept though. with 9 mana going in, I chose 3 and 6 mana cards only (and meltdowns), as I know I would always be able to hit 9 mana. The boss however, doesn’t utilize high mana cards to their advantage. Additionally, and because of this, the boss went through cards a little to quick.
If this boss went untouched, it’d still be a fun breath of air, but since this is about feedback, this is my input about shortcomings.
3x Godhammer -> Seal of Valknu -> Fractal Replication
Need I say more
To whoever it was who was wondering about the maximum amount that a unit can Grow in one turn in Duelyst, multiply 3x Godhammer by 48 spaces (all the spaces in the board minus 1 for the enemy General) and add Juggernaut’s +5/+5 for a whopping +149/+149. (so long as you don’t get a frozen screen and have to restart your client
)
