Nice, nice, nice! A very cool addition to Songhai arcanyst decks, MDS is a useful tool and it enables low-cost mana spells sheganigans.
Ancient Bonds Day 10 Songhai: SparrowHawk
I guess it’s a 5 mana 3/2 that teleports a friendly minion and buffs it +1/1. While procing a spell. I guess it could be playable not sure.
Atleast it is common so you don’t need to waste much spirit on it in the worst case.
You won’t waste spirit on this, going to be same as RotBB model
not bad but why not just run mist dragon seal?
Because you can never have enough teleporting minions
.
true but we already have Alcuin lore master. (that 3/1)
I’m actually confused with the new keyword “bond”. Does it only activate if the card’s same tribe is on the board and if so does the number of minions on the board repeat the effect?
But Sparrowhawk survives bloodtear and skorn
. And Sparrow’s animation is better.
I am pretty sure it activates only once.
Unless you can somehow resummon it
I doubt Kaleos will run Keeper of the vale just for one MDS.
something in the article seemed to say that it separates itself from opening gambit by being useable more than once somehow.
It activates when the minion hits the board in any way, not just when played from hand. Assuming one minion of the same tribe is on the board already.
hmm do you think that a card that activates bond twice will be a thing? That would be very interesting…
Look at the magmar card rebirth activates it again if it lives from its egg form.
Holy potato! you’re right! But it’s kinda unreliable
Well they have to kill 3/4 body then a egg in one turn. By the next turn you’ll have another minion/s on th e board. So this could be nice dispell bait which sets ur juggernaut up to Reign free mid to last the game.
True, true. On a second note do you thing Juggernaut will be good? I hope he is, I like his design a lot. Lets hope he doesn’t end like Khymera
It’s in a faction that goes fast tho so people say why go slow when I can kill my opponent turn 6 and up.
I hope so but it’s gonna need a deck around it to deflect all this removal and dispel. Keep in mind you cascade a 7 mana minion the turn after you drop it you can attack with the juggernaut and reap those (correction it doest I feel silly)
Based on what I’ve read about the “Bond” keyword, it activates upon summoning the “Bond” minion while having a friendly minion of the same tribe on-board. I’m guessing this doesn’t have to be played from your hand to trigger, meaning Rebirth, Nether Summoning, and Keeper of the Vale could activate these effects again if they revive the “Bond” minions.
