Does BBS cast off Alcuin Loremaster count as BBS?

No, it doesn’t.
It counts as a normal spell, so you can cast both in the same turn.
I was hoping it does so we can sync with those Bloodsurge triggers.
I’m not sure as for Bloodsurge effects. My answer was about cooldown, like, casting the BBS from Alcuin don’t turn your actual BBS in a cooldown state. Maybe it works for Bloodsurge, never tested it before.
It counts as a regular spell I.E. triggers owlbeast, but not Meltdown.
Do you guys think if they buff Alcuin to give you BBS type spell, would it be cool or too OP?
It would be cool but not op since you can only cast 1 bbs at a turn (without recharging it by using cryptographer).
I think the point of BBS is that it is your general ability, while a spell in your action bar it is a generic spell. In my point of view, when you cast the spell from action bar it cannot be a bbs. Because of that i think they won’t do that.
However it will not be op because, as degenerator said, we already have cryptographer and it is totally fine.
