2 vs 2 co op mode do you think it would work? If so your ideas on how

Avalanches …avalanches everywhere lol

You see what I’m sayin it would be epic

I think the minions would have to be controlled by said caster once one player dies you could assume control of the minions on the board still left from your teammate

People on the same team have to pick the same faction though. Otherwise you get stupid combos like a kollssus with flying (magmar minion + flying spell from vetruvian)

The crazy combos are going to be there even when both are in the same faction. I think if this mode ever came out flying and ranged would have to have a distance restriction since the board is so large like 5 tiles horizontal and vertical and 4 diagonal

it would make sense lore-wise since the different factions enemies anyways

shadow creep would be severely nerfed due to the extra tiles and likewise chrysalis burst would be buffed

i like that it would be more about developing the board since the generals start farther apart and would not be able to face check minions on turn 2 (strengthening swarm and structures) but that would make the games longer and i dont see the devs agreeing to that.

I guess that’s true with reference to the lore and same faction generals on a team. The games would definitely be longer which would kinda stink but since would be playing with a friend on a team I’d imagine that would be ok

i thinks its possible. Warhammer for example is a tactics game, and it can be played with 2 people on a team. A larger board would be required however.

According to the devs, a co-op mode is in the works. They said it would be something like a campaign mode where you could work with your friends towards a common goal. So it doesn’t necessarily have to be a 2vs2, things could get messy…

both players with the same faction, sharing limit (x3 TOTAL copies of anything), 30 card deck, starting with 3 cards, drawing 2 per turn, no BBS, 20 life general, board and turns as 1p mode, general gets “replaced” at the end of his/her turn, drop both to 0 to win, when your companion is defeated you can still run doing both turns… and maybe a pseudo BBS to switch you into your companion letting him/her play the rest of the turn with the mana left and altering this way your turn order. That’s my ideal, balanced way, to make it viable. Sorry for my english.

the shared limit is a great idea, we wouldnt want 6x tigers or 6x phoenix fire to completely destroy one general super quickly.

a weird thought. would shared health between generals work??

It could but, wouldn’t that make it less tactical. Also it won’t be less fun seeing how your friend tries to overcome the situation, than being the one playing it.

Everything sounds good except the 3 copies total of one card it would be ok if you cued together as a team but I imagine some people might not have a teammate and hop in the cue to find one

I never thought of the sheared Heath pool it would make lethals interesting. Makantor would hit for 8 if both generals played into it

Vanar Vanar mirror match with snowchasers on both sides would probably just be a… cold war.

Sorry.
